YOUR BABY WAS BORN READY TO LEARN MATH

Most parents don't know, so they wait. By then, the critical window is closing.

Eye-tracking for babies. Speech recognition for kids.

Ages 3 months to 6 years.

LearningBzzz is the only app that trains your baby's inborn number sense. It's the foundation that predicts math ability for life.

BORN READY

Newborns just hours old can perceive and compare quantities. This isn't learned, it's built into the human brain. LearningBzzz strengthens an ability that’s already there.

Proven to matter

A baby's number sense at 6 months predicts their math ability at 3.5 years. Early math skills are the #1 predictor of later academic success, stronger than reading, attention, or social skills.

Trainable, especially early

This ability isn't fixed. Research shows quantity recognition can be strengthened through practice. And younger children benefit more than older children. The sensitive period doesn't last forever.

THE RESEARCH

What the science shows:

  • Newborns can perceive quantities within hours of birth
  • Number sense at 6-12 months predicts math ability years later
  • This connection is specific — not explained by IQ or general development
  • Weak number sense underlies math learning disabilities
  • Early math is the strongest predictor of academic success
  • Math ability at age 7 predicts income at age 42
  • Number sense can be trained — and younger children benefit most

We didn't invent this. We built an app around it.

FOR BABIES AND TODDLERS

3-36 months: Eye-Tracking Mode

Your baby watches animated quantities. The app tracks their eye movements to assess what they perceive and adapts accordingly. No interaction required — learning happens through looking.

2 1/2-5 years: Voice Mode

Speech recognition lets preschoolers respond verbally. The curriculum advances to include quantity comparison, approximate arithmetic, and eventually bridging to symbolic math.

One app. Birth through kindergarten. One developing foundation.

Everything parents want to know about LearningBzzz™

📚 About the Curriculum
LearningBzzz teaches foundational math skills through progressive phases for children from 3 months to 6 years old. The progress is customized for the child based on their age with 2 main progress plans: one for infants from 3 months to 2½ years old, and another for preschoolers from 2½ to 6 years old. This approach builds true number sense, not just memorization.
It's your child's ability to instantly perceive "how many" without counting. Research shows babies are born with this innate number sense. LearningBzzz strengthens this foundation before introducing written numerals, giving your child a deeper understanding of math.
Our curriculum is based on early childhood math research and the science of how young minds strengthen their innate number sense and learn to associate a particular quantity value with its name. Later on, children even associate the quantity with the numeral symbol as well as the sound of the number. The curriculum progresses to mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and greater than/less than. We use engaging flashcard presentations to tap into your child's natural pattern recognition abilities. Short, frequent sessions are more effective than long study periods.
⚙️ How It Works
For infants who can't tap or speak yet, LearningBzzz uses your device's camera to detect where your baby is looking. When shown two answer choices, your baby simply looks at their answer — no touching required! This works on devices with Face ID or TrueDepth cameras.
For children who can speak, LearningBzzz asks "What number is this?" and listens for their verbal answer. Our speech recognition is optimized for young voices and common pronunciation variations, so even early talkers can participate confidently.
LearningBzzz automatically selects the appropriate mode based on your child's age. Infants (3 months to 2½ years) use eye-tracking mode, while preschoolers (2½ to 6 years) use speech recognition. The app grows with your child!
Sessions are intentionally super short — only about 20 seconds each! Young children learn best in brief, focused bursts. Total daily learning time is just 1-2 minutes spread across multiple sessions with breaks in between. Beginning with only 3 sessions a day and then it's 5 a day with the evaluations. Quick and engaging beats long and tedious.
👶 Ages & Getting Started
LearningBzzz is designed for children from 3 months to 6 years old. Our infant plan (3 months to 2½ years) uses eye-tracking mode, while our preschool plan (2½ to 6 years) uses speech recognition. Each plan is tailored to your child's developmental stage.
Not at all! Research shows infants are born with an innate number sense. The earlier you nurture this ability, the stronger their mathematical foundation becomes. LearningBzzz meets babies where they are — no reading, writing, or tapping required.
You can start as early as 3 months! At this age, babies are already perceiving quantities. The key is consistency — short daily sessions build lasting neural pathways for mathematical thinking. The earlier the better because their brains are more neuroplastic.
🍼 Infant Plan (3 months – 2½ years)
The infant curriculum progresses through: Quantity Recognition (0-100), Equations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), Numeral Recognition (0-100), Operation Symbols (+, -, ×, ÷), Greater Than/Less Than, Inequalities, Sequences (counting by 2s through 10s), Fractions, and Simple Algebra. After completing all phases, your child enters ongoing evaluation to reinforce everything learned.
With daily use, the infant curriculum takes approximately 14 months to complete. A baby starting at 3 months could finish the full program by around 17-18 months old. After completing all phases, they continue with ongoing evaluations to reinforce everything learned.
Infants do 3 sessions per day (5 during the equations phase). Each session is super quick — only about 20 seconds! This keeps it fun and prevents overstimulation. We recommend at least 5-minute breaks between sessions. Evaluations happen daily after the first week using eye-tracking, making the total daily sessions up to 5 including the evaluations.
Infants are evaluated using eye-tracking — no speech required! The app shows two answer choices, and your baby simply looks at their answer. The camera detects their gaze to determine their response, which is recorded and assessed. These visual evaluations give you valuable insight into what your infant comprehends — something not found anywhere else on the market. Evaluations begin after the first week and happen daily.
🎒 Preschool Plan (2½ – 6 years)
The preschool curriculum covers the same foundational math concepts as the infant program but at a pace designed for deeper mastery with speech evaluation. It includes: Quantity Recognition (0-100), Numeral Recognition (0-100), Equations (all four operations), Simple Algebra (solving for unknowns), Greater Than/Less Than, Inequalities, Sequences, and an extended Fractions module. Preschoolers also enter ongoing evaluation after completing all phases.
With daily use, the preschool curriculum takes approximately 4.5-5 years to complete. A child starting at 2½ years would finish the full program around age 7-8. The preschool plan moves at a slower pace because it includes speech evaluation, giving children more repetition and time to verbally articulate their understanding. Infants absorb the same content much faster because their brains are more neuroplastic.
Preschoolers do 5 sessions per day. Each session is super quick — only about 20 seconds! The total daily learning time is just 1-2 minutes, with at least 5-minute breaks between sessions. The two-week pattern alternates: Week 1 is presentation mode (watching and learning), Week 2 is speech evaluation mode (your child speaks the answer).
Preschoolers are evaluated using speech recognition. The app asks "What number is this?" or presents a problem, and your child speaks their answer. Our speech recognition is optimized for young voices. Week 1 of each learning cycle focuses on presentation, Week 2 focuses on evaluation.

🔧 Troubleshooting
Make sure your baby's face is well-lit (natural light works best) and positioned within the camera's view. Hold the device steady at your baby's eye level, about arm's length away. Reduce background distractions so your baby focuses on the screen.
Speak the answer clearly and wait for the microphone icon to activate. Reduce background noise if possible. If your child has a unique pronunciation, the app learns over time! You can also repeat sessions to build confidence.
Yes! Young children have short attention spans — that's exactly why our sessions are only about 20 seconds each. Total daily learning time is just 1-2 minutes. Make it playful, celebrate their efforts, and never force it. Consistency matters more than duration.
